Meet Belle

Meet the founder of Equine Guidance®
Belle Shook
MC, NCC, LPC, SEP, NARM, BCC
I am an intuitive therapist, board-certified coach, and licensed counselor focusing on personal growth, leadership development, and trauma-informed care.
As a pioneer in the field of Equine Therapy, my three horses and I assist people in developing their potential through healing and fine-tuning their neurobiology.
I will help you create a transformation from the inside out at Equine Guidance®. My horses and I have been working together since 2004 and are ready to be part of your journey.

The Equine Guidance® Experience Established In 2004
In each experience of Equine Guidance® clients are respected with trauma-informed practices as they interact with Belle and the horses. Riding the horses is not included in the experience; clients meet them—and themselves—with boots and hooves on the ground.
Beginning with a lifelong affiliation with horses, Belle’s deeply held goals and values to continually deepen her personal growth and attainment of life mastery inspired Belle to devote the last 25 years to studying and earning credentials in trauma-informed care specific to equine and somatic healing so that she can share with others seeking to transform and heal. For over 20 years, Belle has worked with her American Bashkir Curly horses, Mimi, Penny, and Salsa, in Arizona’s Sedona Verde Valley, and to date, Belle and the Horses have held over 1,800 client sessions.

THE EQUINE GUIDANCE® EXPERIENCE:
Somatic Equine Therapy & Coaching
When we work together, you will dissolve chronic stress and anxiety, have more confidence, and deepen your intuitive intelligence, and life resilience, allowing you to recognize and release stuck emotional states and imprints from your nervous system. Insights will turn into action as the horses restore safety, calm, and balance, healing the body and freeing the mind.
The experience can bring you more creativity, an extraordinary ability to connect with others and yourself, and a deeper understanding of who you are and the depth of your capabilities.

In the “U” of the horse’s shoe: six holes, six nails, and six steps to healing.
